Lunch in Zygi

Zygi is a small village on the south coast of Cyprus, between Limassol and Larnaca. It is famous for its fish taverns. Some days ago, the weather was perfect for a trip to Zygi. Everything was perfect, not so hot not so cold, and a wonderful view of the sea. Prices were also normal nothing out of this world. I would surely suggest visiting the village if you are in Cyprus and want to eat fish at a good price. Here are some photos: Zygi Village in Cyprus. View of the beach.  Zygi Village in Cyprus. Nafpaktos

Nafpaktos or Naupactus (Ναύπακτος in Greek) is a small town in Aetolia-Acarnania, West Greece, Greece. It has around 31000 residents and it is very popular during the summer due to the beaches around. Last month i visited the town for a wedding. I enjoyed the sun and the sea of the area. The water is not so hot as in Cyprus or Rhodes. Even the nights the temperature was perfect and it was easy to sleep. Comming from a steady 32-34*C from Nicosia during the night, the change was perfect! We didn't have time to visit the fortress (there is a nice view of the port and the town), but we managed to walk a bit on the beach and enjoy the sea. Here you can find some photos taken from Nafpaktos. The entrance of the port with teenagers falling from the stone wall, in Nafpaktos, Greece. Barcelona again!

Barcelona again! I was living there from 2010 until the end of 2013. 3,5 wonderful years in a magnificent city. It is the city that can combine everything from hard work to crazy  nightlife . Plaza de Catalunya fountain. This time, I visited Barcelona because is want to take my degrees and see some old friends. Making the paper was not easy as I thought. It took them almost two years of "printing" the degrees, but finally, they manage it. I think Spanish public sector is more bureaucratic even than the Greek one. And then... we have the second phase: the legalization (Apostille). If you want to avoid the fees you have to go to an office of the Spanish Ministry of Justice (C/ Garcilaso, 123, Planta baixa - 08027). The line was going to the next road as you can see from the photo bellow. We arrived 08:45 (opens at 09:00) and we took the number 266. We took our paper around 14:00 and in the mean time we also went for shopping. Waiting line at the office of the Spani

A trip to Kakopetria in Cyprus

Kakopetria is a Town in Cyprus located 55 kilometers southwest of the capital, Nicosia, on the north facing foothills of the Troodos Mountains. It takes around 40' to drive from Nicosia to Kakopetria and the road is quite easy. There are two small rivers running the village, so i took some pictures. Although this year wasn't so good in terms of water. River next to Kakopetria village, in mountain Troodos, Cyprus. River next to Kakopetria village, in mountain Troodos, Cyprus. Apart from the rivers, there is old village of Kakopetria that is well preserved. Although  there are modern additions, the aesthetic remains like a traditional village in the mount of Troodos in Cyprus. Part of the old village of  Kakopetria  , in mountain Troodos, Cyprus.
